My lasagna garden, aka: pile of leaves, discarded fruit and veggie peels, hay, newspaper and chicken poop, is now "baking". Before I put the tarp over the pile I mixed up the ingredients a little bit and found an earthworm. I'll take that as a sign of good soil.
